I don’t know about you, but I am so done with procrastinating to avoid writing.

I’m tired of being anything less than the kick-ass, sassy, fucking hilarious woman I want to be, day in and day out. I have spent too long going through the motions. 

Tell me if this sounds familiar: 

– 6:30am: Wake up, drink coffee, shower, get dressed, go to work. 

– 8:30-4:30: Count the minutes until the workday is over. Drink more coffee, and snack far too much in between. Plan the amazing things you’re going to do that evening/that weekend/on your next vacation. 

– 5pm: Get home, feed the cat, figure out what’s for dinner, eat in front of the TV while watching one of your favourite sitcoms (*cough* if it’s not Friends, I’ll question your taste), or The Great British Baking Show. 

– 8pm: Realize it’s been 3 hours, and all you’ve done is watch TV and eat. You are now too tired to work on anything you planned for the evening, so you keep your ass parked on the couch and wait for bedtime. 

Rinse and repeat. 

I know I’m not alone here. 

Let’s get out of this rut together, shall we? It’s time to get writing. One step at a time…
